Day 1
Arrival in Manali (Approx. 293 Kms / 8-9 Hrs)

Upon arrival at Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station, you will be greeted by our local representative for a comfortable transfer to Manali. Settle in for a scenic 8-9 hour journey through the picturesque lower Himalayas and the verdant Kullu Valley, often winding alongside the Beas River. Check into your hotel in Manali (approx. 1929 meters) and unwind. The evening is yours to explore the lively Mall Road, the town's central hub for shopping and local vibes.

Pro Tip: If you are prone to motion sickness, take necessary precautions. Stay well-hydrated during the drive, and feel free to request short stops for fresh air and stretching.

Day 2
Manali Local Sightseeing (Approx. 3-4 Hrs of Sightseeing)

After a relaxed breakfast, embark on a half-day tour (approx. 3-4 hours of sightseeing) of Manali's key attractions. Visit the unique Hadimba Devi Temple (short drive from town), an ancient pagoda-style shrine nestled amidst a serene cedar forest. Explore Vashisht Village (short drive, approx. 3 km), known for its sacred temple, natural hot sulphur springs offering views of the Beas, and the vibrant Tibetan Monastery (easily accessible within town) where you can experience Buddhist culture and browse local handicrafts. The afternoon and evening are at your leisure.

Pro Tip: Remember to dress respectfully when visiting temples, covering shoulders and knees.The hot springs at Vashisht can be quite warm, so enter cautiously.

Day 3
Excursion to Solang Valley and Optional Rohtang Pass (Solang: Approx. 30 mins drive each way)

Following breakfast, we will drive to Solang Valley (approx. 14 km, about 30 minutes’ drive each way), famous for its stunning views of glaciers and snow-capped peaks. Here, you can enjoy various adventure activities depending on the season. An optional excursion to Rohtang Pass (approx. 51 km, about 2-3 hours drive each way, subject to weather conditions and permit availability, typically open May-Oct/Nov) offers breath-taking panoramic vistas of the high Himalayas. Return to Manali in the evening.

**Pro Tip: **When engaging in adventure activities in Solang Valley, choose reputable operators and prioritize safety. For Rohtang Pass, inquire about permits well in advance and be prepared for potentially long queues and varying weather; dress in warm layers and acclimatize to the altitude.

Departure

Cancellation Policy
  • Cancellations received upto 30 days prior to arrival will be fully refundable
  • Cancellation received between 30 days and 15days will be subjected to 10% of tour cost
  • Between 15 - 10 days of departure: 35% of tour cost will be deducted.
  • Less than 10 days or No Show will be subjected to 100% amount.
  • Any Cancellation which is result of Natural or Political problem will be refundable, subjected to local suppliers approval.

  • Hotel Check-in & Check-out Policy: Check-in is between 12:00 PM & 3:00 PM, and check-out is between 10:00 AM & 12:00 PM (timings may vary by hotel).
  • ID Proof Requirement: As per government norms, all guests must present a valid photo ID proof (Aadhar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License) at the time of check-in. PAN Card is not accepted as ID proof. Children must also carry an identity card for check-in formalities.

If unavailable, we will provide the next available category and incase of any additional charges applicable, the same will be communicated well in advance before confirmation of final package.

Force Majeure

Holidaymine and its representatives shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control. This includes but is not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, acts of God, pandemics, government restrictions, strikes, civil disturbances, terrorist activities, or flight cancellations. In the event of such occurrences, any additional costs incurred will be borne by the client, and refunds (if applicable) will be subject to the policies of respective service providers, including hotels, airlines, and local transport operators.

**Manali : **Located approximately 250 km from Shimla, Manali, with its breathtaking views of the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal mountain ranges, is a year-round magnet for tourists seeking mountain adventures. It is a popular destination for visitors seeking a cool retreat in summer and a magical, snow- covered landscape in winter. Manali also serves as a gateway to Ladakh, via the Lahaul and Spiti valleys, and the Rohtang Pass, a major attraction near Manali. Manali offers a mix of cultural attractions, including the Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple, and Vashisht village with its hot springs, and opportunities for outdoor activities such as river rafting, paragliding,zorbing, and trekking.

Rohtang Pass : Manali is the gateway to Rohtang Pass, located approximately 51 km north of Manali (and approximately 300km from Shimla), beyond which lie the twin valleys of Lahaul and Spiti. While Rohtang Pass is a major attraction, its accessibility is limited to certain months. The pass is located on the Manali-Leh Highway, at an altitude of approximately 3,978 meters (13,051 feet). Rohtang Pass offers stunning views of glaciers, peaks, and valleys.

Solang Valley : Located approximately 264 km from Shimla and near Manali, Solang Valley is a popular destination for adventure enthusiasts. This picturesque valley offers a range of activities, including paragliding, zorbing, skiing (in winter), and ropeway rides. It is known for its beautiful meadows, snow-capped peaks, and panoramic views.

Shopping And Entertainment

Shimla: Shopping in Shimla is all about buying the local handicrafts and the main shopping areas in Shimla are along the Mall, the Subzi Mandi, and the Lakkar Bazaar. The Mall road is the place shoppers love to explore, as there are several shops here that offer plethora of choices including woolen products, handicrafts, and handmade artifacts. The Kullu and Kinnauri shawls, mufflers and scarves, Pashmina shawls and the Tibetan carpets are some of the must-buys from Shimla. Apart from shawls, there are Himachali caps, gloves, sweaters and socks, which you may buy from here. Take a trip to the Tibetan Market if you want to buy Tibetan carpets, jewellery that can be purchased from the shops close to the ridge. Apart from this you may also like to buy juices, jams, squashes, pickles and sauces as they are also the best buys here.

Manali: The Mall is the main shopping area in Manali, selling local Kullu and Kinnauri shawls, rugs, caps and footwear, imported goods, besides a range of Tibetan handicraft items. The Tibetan Bazaar and Tibetan Carpet centre run by the refugee community sells thangkas, rugs, local tweeds, Buddhist paintings, bamboo souvenirs, Chinese goods (electronics, shoes, clothes etc), silver and turquoise jewellery and prayers wheels amongst other things. The place is overcrowded with tourists in the summers. If you are interested in buying more hippie and junky stuff, then the Old Manali market is a must visit. The Himachal Handicrafts Emporium and Bhuticco weavers' co-operative in the main Manali Mall are good for local handicrafts. Handcrafted shawls and rugs are the major and the most popular buys here.

Kullu: Shopping in Kullu includes buying Kullu shawls, caps, and gadmas which can be bought from private shops as well as the Himachal state weaving co-operative at Bhutti Weavers colony, six kms south of Kullu. The co-operative runs several retail outlets called Bhuticco at other towns in the valley. The state government handicrafts emporium and Khadi Gramodyog emporium are at Akhara Bazaar.
