Getting There
By Air

The nearest airport is Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh, which is well-connectedmto major cities like Delhi, Jammu, Srinagar, and Chandigarh. From the airport, taxis are available for transfers to your destination in Leh or beyond. Due to high demand, it is advisable to book flights in advance, especially during peak tourist season

(May–September).

By Rail

The closest railway station is Jammu Tawi, approximately 700 km from Ladakh. It is well connected to major cities like Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai. From Jammu, travelers can either take a direct flight to Leh or opt for a road journey via taxi or bus, which takes around two days with an overnight stop in Srinagar or Manali,depending on the chosen route.

By Road

Ladakh is accessible by two scenic highways:

Manali-Leh Highway (474 km) – Open from June to October, passing through Rohtang Pass, Baralacha La, and Tanglang La. Srinagar-Leh Highway (434 km) – Open from April to November, offering a journey through Zoji La Pass and Sonmarg.

Taxis, buses, and self-drive vehicles (bikes, jeeps, and SUVs) are popular choices for a thrilling road trip to Leh, offering breathtaking views and an unforgettable adventure.

Pro Tip: Acclimatization is crucial. If traveling by road, consider stopping at Keylong (via Manali) or Kargil (via Srinagar) to adjust to the altitude before reaching Leh

Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar (12 km / Approx. 30 mins)

Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will be welcomed by our local representative, who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel or houseboat. Check-in and relax. Later, embark on an enchanting Shikara ride on Dal Lake, gliding past floating gardens, traditional houseboats, and bustling vegetable markets. Absorb the breathtaking views of the Zabarwan Mountains and the tranquil waters of the lake. Return to your accommodation for a traditional Kashmiri dinner and overnight stay at a hotel/houseboat in Srinagar.

Post breakfast, head out for a day excursion to Yusmarg, a hidden gem in the Budgam district. After breakfast, proceed to Doodhpathri, also known as the "Valley of Milk." The name Doodhpathri is derived from the milky-white appearance of its river streams, flowing from snow-covered peaks. Enjoy a peaceful walk along the riverbanks or opt for a pony ride (direct payment basis) to explore the higher reaches.

Sonamarg – Srinagar (80 km / Approx. 2.5 to 3 hours one way)

After breakfast, set out on a full-day excursion to Sonamarg, the "Meadow of Gold." Nestled in the Sindh Valley, Sonamarg is an untouched paradise with vibrant meadows, towering mountains, and crystal-clear streams. You may opt for a pony ride to the Thajiwas Glacier (direct payment basis), a breathtaking site where you can witness glaciers up close and enjoy the crisp mountain air.

Srinagar – Aharbal Waterfall – Pahalgam (90 km / Approx. 3 hours) (Optional Detour to Sinthan Top

Post breakfast, check out and set off for Aharbal Waterfall, often called "The Niagara of Kashmir." Located in the Kulgam district, this breathtaking waterfall cascades from a height of 25 meters, surrounded by dense pine forests and rugged cliffs. Enjoy photography, naturewalks, and the sheer serenity of the place.

For adventure seekers, an optional detour to Sinthan Top can be arranged. Situated at an altitude of 3,748 meters, Sinthan Top offers panoramic views of snow-capped mountains and is a paradise for photographers. However, this detour will add approximately 4-5 hours to your journey.

After exploring Aharbal (or Sinthan Top, if opted), continue your journey to Pahalgam, the Valley of Shepherds." En route, stop at saffron fields in Pampore and the Awantipura Temple Ruins, a 9th-century temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Upon arrival in Pahalgam, check in at your hotel and unwind.

Tip: Aharbal is an ideal location for photography. Carry a wide-angle lens to capture the waterfall’s grandeur.

Pahalgam Local Sightseeing & Offbeat Exploration

After breakfast, embark on a day of adventure and exploration. You may opt for a local unioncab (direct payment basis) to visit Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari, each offering stunning views, dense pine forests, and pristine streams.

Alternatively, for an offbeat experience, take a pony ride (direct payment basis) to Baisaran Valley, also known as "Mini Switzerland," featuring vast meadows and panoramic mountain views. For adventure enthusiasts, Pahalgam also offers river rafting on the Lidder River(direct payment basis), an exhilarating experience with rapids ranging from Grade I to III.

Tip: If opting for river rafting, keep a change of clothes handy as you may get wet.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Gulmarg, the "Meadow of Flowers." Take the Gulmarg Gondola (direct payment basis), one of the highest cable cars in the world, offering breathtaking views of the Pir Panjal range. For adventure lovers, Gulmarg offers activities like skiing (in winter), pony rides, ATV rides,and hiking. Visit Khilanmarg, a high-altitude valley known for its wildflowers and panoramic views.

Return to Srinagar by evening and unwind at your hotel.

Cancellation Policy
  • Cancellations received upto 30 days prior to arrival will be fully refundable
  • Cancellation received between 30 days and 15days will be subjected to 10% of tour cost
  • Between 15 - 10 days of departure: 35% of tour cost will be deducted.
  • Less than 10 days or No Show will be subjected to 100% amount.
  • Any Cancellation which is result of Natural or Political problem will be refundable, subjected to local suppliers approval.

  • Hotel Check-in & Check-out Policy: Check-in is between 12:00 PM & 3:00 PM, and check-out is between 10:00 AM & 12:00 PM (timings may vary by hotel).
  • ID Proof Requirement: As per government norms, all guests must present a valid photo ID proof (Aadhar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License) at the time of check-in. PAN Card is not accepted as ID proof. Children must also carry an identity card for check-in formalities.

If unavailable, we will provide the next available category and incase of any additional charges applicable, the same will be communicated well in advance before confirmation of final package.
  • Transportation Policy: The vehicle will be provided strictly as per the itinerary and will not be at disposal for additional use.

Force Majeure

Holidaymine and its representatives shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control. This includes but is not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, acts of God, pandemics, government restrictions, strikes, civil disturbances, terrorist activities, or flight cancellations. In the event of such occurrences, any additional costs incurred will be borne by the client, and refunds (if applicable) will be subject to the policies of respective service providers, including hotels, airlines, and local transport operators.
